Take the first step

In today’s complex world, people often experience stress at work, at home and in relationships. When this becomes persistent, excessive, or is routinely triggered by everyday situations, it becomes disruptive to leading a healthy, well-rounded, and fulfilling life. The situation could be exacerbated by physical health concerns, irregular eating patterns, sleep challenges, and limited exercise leading to depression, loss of self-esteem and even a sense of loss of self. The great news is that with professional guidance and support, one can reengage with the world, develop a healthy work life balance, have good relationships with family and friends and move towards living a fulfilling life. Seeking help is the first step. A step that only you can take.

About me:

Sudha Gutti

she/her

The journey of healing begins with a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and mutual respect. My worldview and core values determine my approach to therapy and engaging with you. I strongly believe in a holistic approach to therapy: I consider the art and science of healing to support the whole person – body, mind, and spirit. While relieving anxiety and stress may be an immediate focus, strengthening coping skills and building resilience to make anxiety more manageable will be the goal of our work together.

I have decades of rich and varied life experiences which inform my practice. I have worked in schools with children as an educator with a great understanding of human development, I am a grass-roots level community development social worker and a mental health clinician in community behavioral health. My work experience spans across two continents and many people with diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. In my work, I actively utilize a variety of modalities including Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR, which I have used extensively and successfully for addressing unresolved trauma and grief. I am known to my clients and colleagues as someone who is non-judgmental and easy to converse with and a very committed, compassionate, empathetic, and intuitive human being.

I am based out of Chester County Pennsylvania and am able to serve clients throughout PA. Telehealth visits only at this time.
